More about the music:

Drew Peterson is an independent Americana singer-songwriter who has captivated fans across the Midwest for over 20 years. Since fronting the Minnesota-based group Forty Watt Bulb, Peterson has spawned two other successful Roots projects; the twangy, upbeat Dead Pigeons and bluegrass-influenced Boxstore Bird. Peterson comes from a long line of musically inept Norwegian Farmers (unless you count his Grandpa Pops, the town drunk, who played the harmonica and concertina for booze). Born without natural talent, Peterson tackled his musical endeavors the way he had been taught while growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota - hard work and lots of practice. And practice is what he’s been doing for 20 years. With clever, dry humor, thought-provoking lyrics, and a performance style that can transform from intimate listening room to rowdy festivals and bars, Peterson always gives his heart and soul to the stage. Potluck String Band: "In our Potluck band, everyone brings something to the table, and, as often happens when creating something together, the result is more than the parts that made it. Call it joy, call it good old-fashioned fun, call it a bunch of strings strummed into a heart-opening chord. Or call it a Bamily, like we do! We’ll be pickin' and grinnin' whenever and wherever we can – we can’t really help it – so come on out and have a great time with us!"–The Potluck String Band.
